Q: |
What's this comic rated? Can kids read it? |
A: |
While I don't think there's anything really objectionable in the story -- sex or violence -- there are some scary parts, so I wouldn't recommend it to young kids. I think 13+ is a good rating. |

Q: |
Where did you get the idea for Wonderlust? |
A: |
It originated as a kernel of an idea for a graphic novel that I used for my senior thesis when I graduated from MCAD. I illustrated what was to be the first chapter and then shelved it for several years while I worked on other projects. My initial interest came from the idea of exploring the "true meaning of Halloween," since it's always been my favorite holiday. |

Q: |
Where can I buy some Wonderlust merch? |
A: |
Any merch will be up for sale in my Hivemill store. If there's something you want but don't see for sale, shoot me an e-mail! |

Q: |
How do you make the comic? |
A: |
First, I do thumbnails and layouts on paper. I then scan in my layouts and do the rest of the steps on my Monoprice display tablet in Manga Studio 5, with a little help from Photoshop. I heavily rely on brushes from Frenden to give my art the organic feel the story requires, as well as my own hi-res paper textures. |

Q: |
What else do you do? |
A: |
I have another webcomic called The Intrepid Girlbot, which is an odd kind of silent sci-fi story. I also do occasional freelance. |

Q: |
Who made this really cool website? |
A: |
I designed it, and Erin Burt of Hiveworks programmed it! Erin's great! |

Q: |
Wait, so you drew a version of the first chapter for school? Can I read it anywhere? |
A: |
Uhhh, yeah, I guess you can if you really want to. It's very old, and the art and writing are much lower quality than I'm capable of now. There are some kinda-spoilers in there for the first chapter, obviously. |
